Braam, a qualified chartered accountant, has more than 20 years’ experience as auditor, trainer, consultant and general market practitioner. During his career he has left an extensive footprint across the South African financial industry. His exposure includes, inter alia, assisting in the structuring of the original South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX), now known as the JSE Derivatives Market, where he played an essential part in the implementation of the first futures transactions in South Africa. Braam was also called upon to provide specialist advice on the setup and structuring of investment portfolios for the University of Johannesburg, Old Mutual, Prima Bank and other institutions in South Africa.
He currently serves as the CEO of Intellivest Financial Services (IFS), where he is actively involved in the daily management of client portfolios and also serves as chair of the Investment Committee.

After completing his formal studies Nicol started working in the Financial Services industry where he gained extensive experience in Investment Management, Portfolio Management and Personal Financial Planning, across various companies. His primary focus area has always been on investment management, especially on how to structure various types of strategy that will not only suit the client’s individual needs but also perform well in a continuously changing economic cycle.
He also provides an essential input in creating and managing client portfolios. His industry wide experience provides the company with efficient alternatives and solutions which ensure that the needs of individual clients are met in an optimal way.

Ziets started his career in the late 1980s as an economics lecturer at Unisa. He joined the SA Reserve Bank in the early 1990s, where he was involved in the provision of training in financial markets, banking and investment related courses. While at the Bank he also served on its Pension Fund Investment Committee. In 2003 he became a co-author and -editor of the textbook Understanding South African Financial Markets, of which the 6th edition was published in 2019. After retiring from the Reserve Bank in 2015, Ziets joined Intellivest Financial Services (IFS) as part of their dynamic team of portfolio managers and Wealth advisers. During his career Ziets also served on the board of the SA Institute of Financial Markets and was elected as a Fellow of this body in 2015. He has a passion for people as well as financial instruments which is why he chose to focus the final part of his professional career on managing asset portfolios for clients at IFS.

Esther has been in the Financial Services industry since 2006. Her major focus was on property investments, managing various portfolios from short term to long term, while also providing a suitable income for her clients.
Esther joined Intellivest Financial Services in order to broaden her expertise in the Financial Industry. This has provided her an excellent opportunity to assist her clients in diversifying their portfolios according to their risk profiles and financial needs.
